Red Rag - The British Crime Survey for the twelve months to June came out today and this is what it said:
For the first time in 16 years overall crime went up
10% rise in household burglary
13% rise in other household theft
3% rise in robbery
2% rise in serous sexual offences
And what pearls of wisdom did Camerons spokesman came out with....."they are not statistically significant". In other words..."What? Crimes gone up for the first time in 16 year.....MEH!"
Oh and before any apologists for the coalition blame the riots, theses figures do not include them.
