Highest number of unemployment for 17 years
Highest number of youth unemployment ever
Highest long term unemployed for 15 years
Highest number of unemployed women for 23 years.
Guess who was in power with the same old shite excuses as they are using today when things were last this bad?
David Cameron PM Questions 30 June 2010:
"Unemployment will fall this year, it will fall next year it will fall every year of this parliament".
Gideon Osborne on 26 October 2010:
"Todays figures shows the economy growing double the rate the market expected....this gives me great confidence when I say a steady recovery is under way".
Don't worry boys I'm sure you can feed a few lines to The Express/Mail/Murdoch press that all these new people who have been sacked because of your policies are a bunch of scrounging, work shy, benefit cheating, lazy bastards and they will put it on the front page for you.
PS. Gideon any chance of you fucking off back to folding towels for Selfridges and letting something else have a try at being chancellor with a bit more economic nous than you have.....like a rubber duck, it couldn't do any worse.
