Red Rag - Another 80,000 reasons why Osborne is a complete failure

Red Rag - In what is now seems an endless run of very poor economic news the Office for National Statistics announced unemployment rose by 80,000 in the last three months. This takes the figure to 2.51 million unemployed and is the biggest rise in two years, when we were in the middle of the world recession. Added on top of this is the figure for those that are actually in work which fell by 69,000.

Wages without bonuses on average rose by 2.1% which is now less than half of what inflation is which means those that are actually lucky enough to be in employment are seeing their wages fall in real terms.

Dr Johnn Philpott, chief economic adviser to the Chartered Institute for Personnel and development said "It is clear from the large fall in quarterly employment and an even larger rise in headline unemployment that the UK job market is weakening significantly and that we can expect unemployment to keep rising well into next year and beyond.".

In a not so veiled dig at Osborne and his puppets in the Office for Budget Responsibility  said " The continuing and large loss of jobs in the second quarter dwarfs what might have been expected by the OBR and more in line with CIPD forecasts. This suggest that the OBR may have to substantially revise its forecast and employment outlook through to 2015 which will be bad news for the government"...Ouch.

Osbornes and his personally appointed muppets in his Office for Bullshit and Ridicule as it should be known having the piss taken out of them publically by economists must really hurt.......however... not as much as it hurts the people, who thanks to these economically illiterate clowns, are now signing on.

Don't worry Gideon, I am sure your friends in the right wing media will class them all as scroungers for you.
